Tea plantations and waterfalls
On this trip you will see the wonderfull nature in and around Nuwara Eliya, my hometown.
Best time to start ist about 9 am after breakfast, to take advantage of the good weather in the morning.
There are two big tea-factories near Nuwara Eliya, Mackwoods and Blue-Fields.
We can visit both of them or only your favorite one.
We'll see the fields, the factories and the process of making tea. Further you can try most of the tea produced there and also buy it.
On the way we are going to see 5 different waterfalls.
Some of them a in distance, others very close.
If you like, you can take a bath in a natural pool directly under one of the waterfalls.
A little extra are the Monkeys, living on the roadside.
If you like you can take some bananas with you and spend some time with our distant relatives
